How Do I - Create a Fancy Field

To create a Fancy Field in Jira:

  1. Log in as a Jira Administrator.

  2. In the Admin menu, navigate to Custom Fields, or, secure/admin/ViewCustomFields.jspa

  3. Choose to Add a Custom Field, or, secure/admin/CreateCustomField!default.jspa

    1. Select ‘All’ as the field type, then type ‘fancy’ in the search field.

    2. Then choose a Fancy Field:

      1. Autofill - Choose this field to display the address components in separate HTML fields.

      2. Basic - Choose this field to display the address field as a single-line text field.

      3. Map - Choose this field to display a marker on a map to highlight the location of the selected address.
